Realme 9 5G and 9 5G SE are launched with impressive specifications


Realme continues to expand the lineup of the Realme 9 series and today it is finally the turn of the flagship model of the line and the Realme 9 5G SE. Perhaps the most interesting of the new devices is the Realme 9 5G SE, which stands out for its display and hardware platform. It looks like the company is positioning it as a gaming smartphone for those on a budget.

The Realme 9 5G SE features a 6.6-inch FullHD+ (2412×1080 pixels) screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch response rate. The screen accounted for 90.8% of the front panel and claimed a peak brightness of 600 nits. The device is based on the Snapdragon 778G chipset, has up to 8 GB of LPDRDR4x RAM and 64/128 GB of UFS 2.1 memory. They offered the function of virtual expansion of the RAM up to 5 GB.

Realme 9 5G SE runs Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 shell, supports 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. It is powered by a 5000mAh battery with 30W Dart fast charging. For selfies and video chats, there is a 16-megapixel camera, and on the back there is a trio of 48 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP sensors.

Realme 9 5G was equipped with a 6.5-inch FullHD + resolution (2400×1080 pixels) screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz; a Dimensity 810 chip, 4/6 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB UFS 2.1 flash memory. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a USB Type-C port, a 5000 mAh battery with 18-watt fast charging. Realme 9 5G comes with Realme UI 2.0 interface based on Android 11. The cameras here are similar to those offered in the 9 5G SE.

Realme 9 5G and Realme 9 5G SE will go on sale in India on March 14th. The base model of the series is available with 4/64 GB and 6/128 GB of memory for $197 and $230 respectively. Realme 9 5G SE in the smaller version has 6/128 GB and cost $262. For the option with 8/128 GB, they offer to pay $301.

Realme has also today published a teaser showing the GT Neo3 smartphone from the back. The official presentation of this device will take place this month.

We can see that the device has a triple camera with a dual-LED flash. According to available information, a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 main sensor is in use. The other two blocks can have a resolution of 8 and 2 megapixels.

The smartphone will allegedly come with a 6.7-inch Full HD + AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. At the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The equipment will include a Dimensity 8100 processor. The amount of LPDDR5 RAM will be up to 12 GB; the storage capacity of UFS 3.1 is up to 256 GB. There is an on-screen fingerprint scanner.
